One of the things Kimberly Nissen loves about blogging is getting to work with business owners and publicists who are passionate about their brand or service. They are always teaching her something new about the things she loves, but she often hears from them how hard it is to learn about the world of blogging and new media. As a new media consultant and a passionate advocate for the blogging medium, we know how hard it is for those new to the online market to grasp what bloggers do and how they do it. Reader Reviews

Here are some comments from readers of this eBook.

The Essential Beginner’s Guide to Working with Bloggers is just like having a one on one session with your own social media consultant. The language is concise, it’s logical and full of easy to understand points on why to build relationships with bloggers. It illustrates how bloggers have become so influential by connecting with their readers, who then depend trust and follow their recommendations. If you want to take on blogs as a marketing channel, then you must prepare yourself and this guide will provide the framework – straight from the bloggers mouth.

– Therese Tarlinton, Communications and Social Media Manager, GrayOnline.com

Kimberly has painted a clear picture on how a business can work successfully with bloggers in a way that it is a win-win situation. The eBook provides you with the tools to improve your marketing strategy by utilising the ever expanding blogger community. Kimberly has helped me with how to do my research before approaching a blogger, how set expectations and make it happen! A must read for any business looking to approach bloggers for products, services or customer relations!

– Michael Aubor, Project Manager and Business Owner

Firstly, WOW, just wow. The content is very concise and to the point, leaving nothing out but at the same time without being filled with “fluff”. The difference between print media and blogging is extremely well explained, and I particularly like the way the author highlights the benefits of working with bloggers to fill in the gaps of advertising and brand promotion.

My favourite part? The way the book explains the difference between reach and an engaged audience. I feel that this is still murky waters for businesses. The Marketing team might know that engagement is more beneficial, however, those who they report to just want to see the bigger figures. This will help us implement strategies to reach the KPI’s that we are all aiming for.

– Lexi Williams, Content Manager, Hairhouse Warehouse

After 40 pages and half an hour of reading I’ve managed to learn more about approaching bloggers than I have in a year! This book contains useful tips and advice that can be applied immediately and will help you if simply approaching a blogger makes you nervous…..just like me.
